About Us
Robert Kratschmer, a native Texan, is a Board Certified Plastic Surgeon with offices located in Houston and Pearland, Texas. He originally graduated from Texas A&M University in Aerospace Engineering, and after a thorough career as an engineer at NASA Johnson Space Center decided to advance to the medical field.
After obtaining his medical degree from Texas Tech University, Dr. Kratschmer returned to Houston for his general surgery training at St. Joseph Medical Center. He followed that with fellowship training in acute burn reconstruction at the University of Texas Health Science Center in Houston, which then led him to complete his plastic surgery training at ST. Joseph Medical Center.
He continues to train residents in the field of plastic surgery and is an adjunct attending physician for the plastic surgery training programs at UTMB-Galveston, UTHSC-Houston, and The Methodist Hospital.
